Peace of Mind Collaborative

Take the next step toward healing and well-being

Everyone’s path to healing is unique, and we’re here to walk alongside you with compassion, clarity, and support.

Our Therapeutic Approaches

At Peace of Mind Collaborative, we integrate evidence-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered approaches to meet the needs of every individual and family we serve. Our goal is to make high-quality, accessible care available to all Coloradans, especially those in rural communities, by offering effective tools for healing, resilience, and personal growth.

Below is an overview of the therapeutic approaches our clinicians thoughtfully incorporate:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

A practical, structured approach focused on identifying and reframing unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. CBT empowers individuals to build healthier coping skills, increase emotional resilience, and navigate daily challenges more effectively.

Humanistic Therapy

A warm, person-centered approach grounded in empathy and self-awareness. Humanistic therapy emphasizes each person’s inherent capacity for growth, healing, and positive change.

Existential Therapy

A reflective approach that invites individuals to explore meaning, purpose, and identity. This therapy helps clients move through life transitions with clarity, empowerment, and authenticity.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

An evidence-based therapy blending acceptance and change strategies. DBT helps clients regulate emotions, practice mindfulness, strengthen distress tolerance, and build healthier relationships.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

ACT supports individuals in acknowledging difficult thoughts and emotions while choosing actions aligned with their core values, creating balance and long-term well-being.

Psychodynamic Therapy

A deeper, exploratory approach that helps individuals understand how past experiences shape present emotions and behaviors. It encourages insight, self-compassion, and lasting change.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

A trauma-focused therapy that helps the brain reprocess distressing memories. EMDR reduces emotional intensity, restores a sense of safety, and supports long-term recovery from trauma.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS helps individuals understand and care for the different “parts” within themselves. This compassionate model fosters inner harmony, self-compassion, and emotional balance.

Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)

An evidence-based approach for trauma and PTSD. CPT helps individuals challenge unhelpful beliefs connected to traumatic experiences, making room for healing, clarity, and post-traumatic growth.

Play Therapy

A developmentally appropriate, child-centered approach that uses play to help children express emotions, process experiences, and build problem-solving and emotional regulation skills.
